Mr. Madhu Sudan Nandy
The history of Shree Krishna Industries can be traced back to 1968, when Mr. Madhu Sudan Nandy opened a cast iron foundry, M.S. Nandy & Sons Pvt. Ltd., with two cupola furnaces. Those were the early years of the foundry and engineering goods business in Howrah, and under the leadership of Mr. Madhu Sudan Nandy, the company soon reached great heights. Achieving a monthly metal production of 500 tonnes was quite a feat in those days, but Mr. Madhu Sudan Nandy was equally known for his philanthropic work in society. From those early years, the group has continued to devote time, energy, and resources toward the betterment and upliftment of society.
The business was taken over in the mid-1970s by Mr. Madhu Sudan Nandy’s son, Mr. Mrinal Kanti Nandy (M.Com), who ensured that the company ventured into a line of fully finished products – rice hullers, flour mills, and hand pumps – under the brand name MSN. These products built a loyal customer base across Eastern and North India. In addition to continuing his predecessor’s philanthropic activities, it was Mr. Mrinal Kanti Nandy’s idea to further expand the business into valves and pipe fittings, leading to the founding of Shree Krishna Industries in 2013 under the leadership of Mr. Rahul Nandy, son of Mr. Mrinal Kanti Nandy.

Mr. Rahul Nandy (MBA) currently heads both M.S. Nandy & Sons Pvt. Ltd. and Shree Krishna Industries. His aim is to ensure the company grows sustainably and steadily by upholding quality, reliability, and transparency, while simultaneously promoting activities that benefit the environment and generate employment.
As Director of Shree Krishna Industries INFRA, I have over 13 years of experience in the manufacturing and engineering sector. Our focus is on producing high-quality foundry castings, valves, pipe fittings, and various engineering products, leveraging expertise in metal casting to meet industry demands.
